What a week!
Hey guys
There was no fashion event this week, so I thought I'll share a post with all the good/exciting things that had happened since last week. Just sharing things that has happened with college, at home and other random things. Have some exciting news to share, but I will keep my mouth shut till the time gets closer, so yea :) Enjoy..

-LUNCH-
I had a really good week at college last week as I received two of my assessments marks. I had a 94% on one of the assessments, which I really put a lot of effort in. So all the hours and hours spending on the assessment really paid off. To celebrate and also to thank Allen for helping me put this magazine together, we had yummy MEXICAN!

PUPPIES
My little Chewchew gave birth to two little boys! It was so unexpected as it was late at night when Allen and I were working on the magazine together. I was able to see the experience of her giving birth and it was really something beautiful to see ( even though that might sound weird) but it was really amazing.

Fashion Weekly's 7th Birthday Celebration
Hey guys!
The 16th of May marked the 7th birthday of Fashion Weekly, a local and online style, culture and living magazine.
To celebrate, a social event was held at C Gallery, a small contemporary art gallery, located at Fortitude Valley. Over three hundred guests showed up, and with photographers, champagne, goodie bags and more, it was a successful birthday celebration.
One of the unique highlights of the night was that there were four models that each stood on a pedestal, over looking the buzzing crowd in the gallery. They were each displaying designer outfits from the Fashion Weekly sponsors along with eye-catching hairstyles and accessories.
We were lucky to be the first 100 people to receive a goodie bag, full of vouchers, drinks, pens and more. It was a great night and Happy Birthday Fashion Weekly!

City Chic-U.R.BNE
Hello hello!
On the 3rd of May, there was an event presented by the Brisbane City Council and U.R{BNE}.
This event was held in Burnett Lane at the city and it was jammed-packed with music, fashion parades and little food stores. Local fashion designers presented an Autumn Garden Party-themed fashion parade on the cat walk.
The first catwalk show was full of vibrantly coloured fabrics that gave a lot of movement as they walked. Each garment consisted of different colours and patterns and each model had a different head flower piece. Unfortunately, we missed the others shows as we weren't patient enough to stand around.
We purchased fairy floss on the night as we continued to have a look around, not before long, we had to chuck it in the bin because it made me feel sick.
Besides that, we met up with a few friends and headed towards the lighting projects. Different lights and lanterns displayed were from first-year UQ architecture students. Each one was different, unique and extremely creative.
It was a nice night out as we headed to a cafe to sit and talk before we all headed home. Here is a short video of the night! I looked so happy with the fairy floss but mehh..hahaa enjoy!

Introduction of my blog & QT Fashion Week
From a young age I have always wanted to be in the fashion industry. I did not know exactly which parts of the industry, but I knew for sure I loved clothes, shoes and everything fashion.
During the same year I studied fashion design, in 2012, I got scholarship to a Fashion Photography & Styling course. I remembered I was absolutely excited and was really thankful for every class that I attended. This year, I enrolled in a Fashion institution to study Fashion Styling.
It has only been a few months since my studies started in March, but I have already learnt so much. I have gained experience through backstage dressing for Westfield's Fashion catwalks and attending to fashion events.
As a student who is slowly stepping into the fashion industry, I want to share everything with you as I embark on this exciting path. This is the place were I will show you my inspirations, fashion events and behind the scenes, photography, clothing and other exciting things.

As to my first post, I don't want it to be just about me, therefore I've posted a video up as well !
QT Fashion week was held at the Gold Coast last month with the most amazing designers. I was able to attend to Thursday night show at 8pm, showing two amazing labels Ringuet and Muchacho's collection.

Ringuet clothing was very vibrant of colours and very captivating to the eye. The prints of each garments were amazing with artistic creations of unique colour schemes and enticing patterns.

The collection shown on the catwalks were very faded tone coloures and unique prints of the beautiful city and buildings.
